Cricket Kannadiga – ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ – Podcast
Started in the December of 2018, “Cricket Kannadiga” was then the first and only Podcast in Kannada devoted to cricket. Of course, in a domain as new and fresh as podcasts in India neither being first, nor being the only one are high bars to leap. (But just to be clear, if they were, then we did it first.)
The team comprises Alok Prasanna Kumar, Madhura Kadaba, Thejaswi Udupa and Suneel R. The show features periodic updates in the happenings of the cricket world, ranging from obscure T20 club leagues to premier Domestic cricket championships; and the latest and greatest of men and women’s International Cricket.
Cricket Kannadiga is available to listen on all major Podcast platforms, including Spotify, Google, Apple, Gaana and others.
2018ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ’ ಪಾಡಕಾಸ್ಟ್ ಶುರುವಾದಾಗ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದಂತಹ ಮೊಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಗಿನ ಏಕೈಕ ಪಾಡಕಾಸ್ಟ್ ಅದು ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಫ್ ಕೋರ್ಸ್, ನಿಜ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದರೆ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಡಕಾಸ್ಟ್ಗಳಂತಹ ಹೊಸ-ಹಸಿ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಅನ್ನುವುದು ಅಂಥಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಷಯವಲ್ಲ. (ಹಾಗೆ, ಅದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಷಯ ಅಂತ ನಿಮಿಗನ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ, ನಾವು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು 😀 )
